Hugh Rosenbaum, retired principal from Tillinghast-Towers
Perrin, has more than 25 years of experience working with captives
in the US and Western Europe. He is recognized as one of the
few independent and objective analysts available to answer questions
such as: "Just what is the benefit of the captive?" "Is
the captive still necessary?" "What's the next best
alternative", and "Are we paying too much for what
we're getting?
Until the end of 1999 he was actively involved in
captive statistics, offshore and onshore domiciles, regulatory
development, and writing for Captive Insurance Company Reports.
In 2002-2005 he was a featured speaker at the March CICA conference
in the US, and in 2006 he was presented with the Captive Insurance
Companies Association (CICA) 2006 Distinguished
Service Award.
